Would you like leaves with your tea?

I was at a cafe in Auckland city on the weekend during the World Internet Summit with a couple of friends and one of us ordered a cup of tea to take away. It was plonked down in front of her black (milk on the table) with what looked like tea leaves from the whole tea bush floating on the top.  We all took one look and simultaneously thought ...... well you can guess what we thought! 

Anyway a staff member appeared and then stated that the leaves had slipped into the cup when he was  pouring it.  We were astounded that he thought it would still be ok to drink. 

If you're a cafe owner, I hope this does not happen in your cafe!

World Internet Summit

Hi there - gosh it's been a few weeks since I visited here.  Time flies and I have been spending my time meeting with business owners and completing marketing audits of their business.  I've met some lovely people in that time.

I am attending a 4 day World Internet Summit in Auckland this week and there is some great information being covered.  Over the 4 days we all learn how to create an information product and set up a site and sell it on line with the profits going to someone in the audience on the last night.  Imagine that!  Someone at the last one, won over $30,000US!
What could you do with that?

Having been to many seminars over the years, I find I always learn new shortcuts or information I didn't know and the speakers are brilliant.
